For music lovers, the concert at the Sultana Kamal Women's Complex recently, was a treat. People in the queues were seen devouring Ruchi chips, as one had to purchase a pack of the chips to get in.
The jammed event began with artiste Bari Siddiqui, who charmed the audience with a rendition of Shoachan pakhee from the movie Srabon Megher Din. By this time, the concert ground was covered with empty packets of Ruchi chips. Although the concert started late, the crowd did not seem to mind. About 15,000 youngsters and young at heart thronged the event. Siddiqui also played on the flute to entertain the audience.
LRB took the stage and rocked the show with their performances of Tomakey bhalobashi, Mon chailey, Ferari mon, Ek akasher tara, Abhilashi, Shei tumi, Hashtey dekho, Neel bedona and Bangladesh.
Miles performed their popular numbers such as, Pahari meye. They also performed two English numbers, among other songs.
